Benzac AC 5% Face and Body Wash is a treatment for use in mild to moderate acne. The wash provides cleansing and treatment combined in one.
Benzac AC products contain an acrylates copolymer. Acrylates copolymers are tiny highly porous beads that are so porous they can absorb up to four times their own weight in fluid. They soak up certain liquids quickly and easily, but are selective about what they can absorb. They can rapidly absorb oils, however, they can't absorb water because water has a very high surface tension.
